These collages were made in Italy when I worked there as an artist in residence.

They are influenced by the Italian art you see in the many museums and churches. The residencies where I worked where in Mount Subasio very close to Assisi. Assisi is well known for the famous paintings by Giotto of the life of St Francis. The other Residence was in La Macina di San Cresci in Chianti.
